“Armonk Nursery School has been such a wonderful experience for our son. Our older two children attended a different nursery school and we didn’t realize what they were missing until we sent Ben to Armonk Nursery School. It is such a warm, nurturing community; in particular, the teachers are just superb.”

The Armonk Nursery School is a private non-profit, non-sectarian nursery school, registered by the State of New York and NAEYC accredited. It was established as a community service of the Armonk United Methodist Church, and has been in service to children for over 57 years.

It is located in Armonk United Methodist Church, 3 Bedford Road, in the center of Armonk and has classes for two, three and four year olds. The Nursery School is administered by a Nursery Committee which, with the director, the staff and other professionals, manage the program objectives and the financial structure of the organization.

There are two teachers in each classroom. The lead teacher holds a New York State teaching certificate, and she is responsible for the program planning for her room. The assistant teachers are experienced and have college degrees and hold CDA certification.
